What role do you want to step into next in your life?
We all play many roles. Some feel familiar and comfortable, while others may feel limiting or no longer fit. Sometimes we can sense a new role emerging before we quite know how to step into it.
This experiential workshop explores who we are, how we show up, and who we might be becoming. We’ll begin with playful improvisation to access spontaneity, connection, and imagination. From there, participants will identify a role or way of being they would like to explore more fully.
Through improv, games, embodiment, and reflection, we’ll try these roles on, play with them, and discover what they might have to teach us. Rather than simply thinking about change, we’ll experiment with what it feels like to practice it.
The workshop will invite you to:
Reconnect with play, spontaneity, and imagination
Explore the roles you play in your life
Identify a new or emerging role you’d like to develop
Experiment with new ways of showing up and making choices
Use improv to rehearse new possibilities and bring insights into everyday life
No improv or performance experience is necessary. Come with curiosity and a willingness to play with possibility.
Sometimes the next version of ourselves needs a little rehearsal.
Our groups are inclusive spaces. Participation is a commitment to welcoming and valuing the unique contributions fellow group members bring in terms of their life experience, age, education, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and beliefs.
